I am Marezaan

I’m the photographer behind The Still Edit. What started with picking up a camera in 2020 has grown into a passion for documenting life’s most meaningful moments with intention, honesty, and care. Photography has become the way I see the world—through light, emotion, and the quiet in-between moments that often hold the most meaning.

I am currently working towards my BA in Visual Communication at Open Window.

My approach to photography blends editorial elegance with genuine human connection, creating imagery that feels natural, emotive, and enduring.

Each session is guided with care, blending gentle direction with space for authentic moments to unfold, so you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. At the heart of The Still Edit is a simple intention: to preserve not just how moments looked, but how they felt—creating photographs you return to for years to come.

I believe the most meaningful photographs are the ones that feel honest. Rather than chasing perfection, I focus on genuine connection, quiet moments, and timeless imagery that reflects your story as it naturally unfolds.

While I embrace authentic moments, I also know that being in front of a camera can feel intimidating. That's why I gently guide you with natural, effortless posing throughout your session, creating space for genuine emotion while helping you feel comfortable, confident, and completely yourself.

My goal is for you to leave with more than just beautiful photographs. I want you to leave with an experience that felt relaxed, enjoyable, and true to who you are, and images you'll cherish for years to come.
